A new alternative clothing store will be opening in Vienna on Halloween, and I had the honour of photographing the fashion campaign for the store decor, advertising and website. I loved being in the studio for the 2 days, and had 5 of the best London alternative models to work with. I worked with Ceri on hair for the whole shoot and Stacey doing makeup on the 1st day (Stacey worked with me on the first ever Dolls ‘n’ Divas Playing Cards back in 2009). The clients now have the many, many contact sheets and I should be hearing from them very soon with all their final choices. So difficult! I couldn’t leave you hanging on without any teasers. So, I don’t do this very often – if at all, here’s a little teaser of the raw unedited images from a few of the contact sheets. Can you see what a kick-ass day that we had?! The store, I’ve been told, will be the first large alternative store in Vienna and is more than 4000 square feet. It will feature clothing, shoes, a tattoo parlour, jewellery, makeup, piercing studio and loads more. The owners like to dream big and they […]
Last weekend was my first show back in the photo pit since maternity leave. What a great return to live show photography it was too! I was shooting for Terrorizer at Wembley Arena, London, for the ‘Eighth Plague Tour’ – Darkest Hour, Devil Driver, Bring me the Horizon and then Machine Head to headline. Obviously I can’t show you all the pics but here’s a few sneaky ones. The rest will be in the coming issue of Terrorizer Magazine. It was a blast!
After the success of the Jane Doe Brass Collection launched in March, Seventh Circle Artworks and Jane Doe launched the Silver Edition this week. I’m a really big fan of silver and I love how the pieces give a different vibe when worn even though they are exactly the same design as the Brass. Alongside this the Crobar (London’s favourite rock bar in Soho) “Larry” Skull Cufflinks are now for sale Also, from Monday 14th November the Stone Dead Forever Eternity Ring will be available. Which I absolutely adore. You can purchase all of these items and more at Seventh Circle Artworks. Christmas is coming…. what a great idea for an original gift? Mx
Having worked with Evile on numerous occasions since 2007 their profile had increased – I was stoked that they got on a major tour with Exodus – a really great experience and opportunity for them! Shooting both bands for Ed Stone Rockwear was fun today! Exodus are of the best bands I’ve worked with on promo shoots. Rob Dukes had an amazing amount of poses and faces which made my job so much easier. They were so chatty too, with an offer of hanging out for a drink on the tour bus after the show with them all. I could tell that Exodus and Evile had been getting on really well so far as the banter and vibe between both bands was really great Evile stood just out of this shot and were trying to make the Exodus guys laugh. Evile then stepped in to harass Gary Holt and we took a fun picture. Then more fun photos were taken. It was best to make a collage out of these pictures as they’re all so comical. A super fun shoot with a bunch of great guys who know how to kill it on stage. Awesome!
