November Published Update

What a busy month! There’s still some very exciting stuff coming up too. In the winter, the rock/metal industry gets very busy with shows etc in the run up to the Christmas break.

The lastest issue of Terrorizer features my pictures from The International London Tattoo Convention, Brutal Truth, Grave Miasma and the Hammer-Smashed Festival that Extreme Noise Terror and Brutal Truth headlined. It was BT’s only UK show and it was insane! I got knocked flying with my external flash going one way, I went the other way, someone caught me, I was drenched in beer and my dignity just about intact. Literally BRUTAL! Thank goodness for my camera strap as it could have been an expensive accident.

Anyway, here are the pages from the mag. I’m also going to put another blog post up shortly with my pictures of the performers at The International London Tattoo Convention, as there were loads of great pictures that the magazine didn’t choose, and I’d love to share them with you.

The pics I took back in August of Iron Maiden are still appearing in the press. On the back cover of Bass Guitar Magazine this month you will see my photograph of Steve Harris for Rotosound.

I will be back shortly to share those Tattoo Convention pics of girls playing with fire. Have a great day!

Published Update – USA, UK, RUSSIA!

What a crazy busy time recently! I have so much to share with you all – Birthdays, Photo Shoots, Download Festival, and Golden Gods. But first, a little update on some published work.

After my shoot with Phil Demmel in Brighton, Jasckon USA got in touch to use one of my shots for their new brochure!

Remember my shoot with L Sol Tace in the stormy weather back in July last year? Their album was released with Terrorizer Magazine last month, and is getting rave reviews.

The beardtastic Godsized appeared in Powerplay Magazine with a review of their debut album ‘Time’

Mordecai centerfold album sleeve for ‘Undaunted’, Promotional Flyer, and Advert in Metal Hammer July Issue 121 pg 245

We shot these images at the Catacombs, South Norwood, when I was 7 months pregnant. It was freezing below ground, we were told not to touch the open coffins as they would be carrying the smallpox virus and various other diseases. Was an absoloutely fascinating location and beautifully ornate. The guide also told us that Britains Most Haunted had booked to shoot down there and chase ghosts. Neeless to say that we wrapped that shoot up in record time ;)

Meshuggah & Devin Townsend in Terrorizer Magazine Issue #273 pg 73

I have been SO excited to share my Townsend/Meshuggah pics with you all, so this week I will dedicate a blog post and share some more images from their live set.

RUSSIARival Sons in Classic Rock Russia Issue 116 pg 6

My FIRST piece of published work in Russia! I will have to get the article translated, it’s about Rival Sons playing St Pancras Station, London in April.

Back tomorrow!!

Published in Austria!

Wild at Heart clothing store opened on Halloween and is the first of its’ kind in Vienna, Austria, with over 4,000 square feet of alternative goodness (imagine Camden in North London).

Back in August, the owners flew over to London to shoot with me for the fashion campaign which involved all the store decor and promotion. They called in top London based alternative models Nina Kate, Hayley Leggs, Morrigan Hel, Dickie Smith and Shelly D’Inferno, and I used my great team on hair and makeup – Ceri Cushen and Stacey Frow (Stacey did makeup on Hayley & Dickie)

I hope to visit the store at some point and take some pictures. But in the mean time, here’s some quick snaps they have taken. I was stoked to see the displays bigger than I thought they would be!

(All snaps with credit to Wild at Heart, Vienna)

Large window displays of each of the models.

Huge canvas of Shelly D’Inferno and Morrigan Hel behind the till point

Various images on Swing Tags

Framed images throughout the store (Nina Kate & Shelly D’Inferno pictured)

Images on red canvases also around the store

Also on the flyer for their in-house tattoo and piercing parlour

And the images on the Torture Garden flyer,Vienna at Club 666 Hell-O-Wien.

Here’s a few of my favourite images from the photoshoot back in August (click to view larger)

Pretty cool huh?

Published! REVOLVER USA, Hottest Chicks 2012 Calendar & Terrorizer Magazine

Just a little update to let you all know my latest published news…

REVOLVER Magazine, (USA based rock magazine) has printed one of my pictures full page in their latest issue out this week – their yearly Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock issue. You may all recognise Simone Simons from the shoot I did earlier this year, with Simone wearing jewellery from the Jane Doe Collection by Seventh Circle Artworks.

Alongside that, REVOLVER have a Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock 2012 Calendar which is available for sale now. Another photo I took of Simone features in their Calendar – she is centre spread, the month of June. Order your Calendar here. Each month has dates marked with important birthdays and events in the Rock Music world.

Both of these items are the first major pieces of publication I’ve had in the States so far and I’m super stoked!

Lastly, with the release of Machine Head’s album ‘Unto the Locust’, Terrorizer Magazine printed full page my picture of Robb Flynn. Machine Head have just started touring on this album and I’m very much looking forward to catching up with the guys here in December at their London show!
