What a crazy busy time recently! I have so much to share with you all – Birthdays, Photo Shoots, Download Festival, and Golden Gods. But first, a little update on some published work. It was freezing below ground, we were told not to touch the open coffins as they would be carrying the smallpox virus and various other diseases. Rival Sons left the UK last weekend after a stint of tour dates and handful of surprise acoustic appearances in London. One of which was at St Pancras International, as part of the ‘Station Sessions’ running from April 4th until May 9th and raising money for the N.S.P.C.C. A real treat for those travellers by Eurostar departures! Here’s some shots from their 30 minute set (click to view larger). Quite a crowd had formed by mid-set The usual train announcements about ‘left luggage’ and ‘unsual incidents’ in the station provided much amusement! For those returning from a long trip, it was a wonderful welcome home. For those leaving? Hello! I’m very excited to announce another Makeover + Shoot Day Our poster advert girl – Jenni – was on the very first Makeover Day, held almost a year ago. It was her very first shoot in front of a pro camera, let alone in a studio setting. Now look at her! :) These shoots are really great if you want to gather confidence in front of the camera, to dress up and try a completely different style, update your portfolio if you’re already a model, or if you want to buy a gift for your girlfriend, partner, wife, sister, friend, or even a treat for yourself. You get the idea.. This time, we have included a ‘before’ picture, so you can see what we do on these Special days. The £140 fee includes: Pre-shoot consultation with me to make sure you get the shoot, style and look that you’re after. We had such a fun time on the 2nd Makeover + Shoot Day! If you are on my Facebook Page, you would have seen teasers go up over the past couple of weeks. Ceri, Amber and I had such varied looks to work with; a classic 40’s/50’s style, casual rocked up look, vintage gothic, alternative lingerie and a classy high fashion style shoot. Here’s some of my favourite pictures from the day They all look absolutely stunning! Wouldn’t you agree?! I really do love to put on these Makeover Days, especially when I get to photograph some ladies that book, and it’s their first time in front of the camera for a professional shoot. To see the transformation and their confidence boost is one of my favourite things. We will be running another one next year. Wow hasn’t time gone by!
