Killswitch Engage Live

I haven’t done a post in forever! Terrorizer have been keeping me busy with lots of shoots – which you will see in coming issues. So let’s get up to speed! Following my Trivium post in February (where they had the double headliner show with Killswitch Engage), here’s a few of my favourites from the KsE set. A performance full of passion and energy, that was also entertaining! Definitely a contender for my favourite gig of the year. Mx PS. I love Jesse’s socks!

Live: Trivium, London UK

Trivium and Killswitch Engage recently finished the UK leg of their co-headline tour. It was a stonking great sold-out show in London! I shot a few bits for Terrorizer Magazine, which you will see printed very soon. In the meantime, here’s some pics that you won’t see anywhere else… Mx

Give me Fuel, Give me Fire

In September, I worked at the London Tattoo Convention for Terrorizer Magazine. Covering the darker side of the arts and tattooing over the weekend, for a feature printed in the magazine I blogged about a couple of weeks ago. Performance wise, I was also very¬†intrigued by the Fuel Girls so I hung about for a bit to shoot them in between interviews. I have worked with a couple of ex-Fuel Girls in other shoots, but never seen them perform their routine in full. From pole dancing, ariel hoop, ballet, and urban dance to fire breathing and sword routines – it was all incredibly inspiring and sometimes breathtaking in places. Not to mention really beautiful tattoos too! I also really liked Cervena Fox’s ‘Queen of the Damned’ performance. Some of the pics were in the magazine, this one didn’t make it in and is one of my favourites. I highly recommend that you catch the Fuel Girls if you see they are in your area. Mx

My Terrorizer Cover!

Ahhhh, so I can finally share my excitement (and interrupt what would have been my next post) with you all, to announce that I have my first Terrorizer Magazine Cover! A few weeks ago, I shot the Napalm/Bodom show in London. With my lighting gear in tow, I set off earlier in the day and had a shoot with Shane Embury from Napalm Death for the cover. This issue would also be for the 20 Year Anniversary of the magazine – damn cool! I did the shoot against a white backdrop so that it could then have a montage of Terrorizer covers in the background (by Steve Brown) from the last 20 years. Quite surreal, seeing it in my local WHSmith’s yesterday. Shane was brilliant to work with, especially in the time frame we had to do the shoot. There were many great and strong images from the set, and I’m stoked with the one that they chose for the cover. There was also a lot of champagne, whiskey, rum, and delicious Honey Jack Daniel’s consumed these past couple of¬† days, as the magazine hit the stores on my Birthday! DOUBLE celebrations. And a Pirate Party to boot! (As you […]
