Give me Fuel, Give me Fire

In September, I worked at the London Tattoo Convention for Terrorizer Magazine. Covering the darker side of the arts and tattooing over the weekend, for a feature printed in the magazine I blogged about a couple of weeks ago.

Performance wise, I was also very intrigued by the Fuel Girls so I hung about for a bit to shoot them in between interviews. I have worked with a couple of ex-Fuel Girls in other shoots, but never seen them perform their routine in full.

From pole dancing, ariel hoop, ballet, and urban dance to fire breathing and sword routines – it was all incredibly inspiring and sometimes breathtaking in places.

Not to mention really beautiful tattoos too!

I also really liked Cervena Fox’s ‘Queen of the Damned’ performance. Some of the pics were in the magazine, this one didn’t make it in and is one of my favourites.

I highly recommend that you catch the Fuel Girls if you see they are in your area.
