It’s 6 years this month that I have been snapping for Terrorizer Magazine. I can still remember my very first booking – Alice Cooper and Motörhead at Wembley Arena in November of 2007 – talk about a real treat! I don’t think they realise how much that meant to me. It was a pretty sought after show (I imagine they’re bands to tick off every rock photographer’s list), but playing the same show too?! And for a first booking? WOW. Alice Cooper was one of my first childhood memories of rock music…talk about coming round full circle.
The September issue (#239) dropped through my letterbox, I opened the magazine to discover my picture and a little write up about me in the section ‘Employee of the Month’!
Inside are 2 big features I shot – Matt Harvey from Exhumed which I blogged about in my Behind the Lens section, and Jeff Waters from Annihilator. Live pics of Clutch and a pre-show ‘Bar Rant’ with Tim and JP (Clutch) also printed.
A busy month. Thank you Terrorizer Magazine!
Last Issue (#239) I had pictures published from my biggest live booking to date. Iron Maiden! Unfortunately, I can’t share any of the other pictures taken at that show (due to contracts with the band’s management) so here’s the printed page.
