Marie Korner

As an internationally published photographer with more than a decade of experience, I've been accredited for Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Guns 'n' Roses, ZZ Top, and many more. My work has appeared in major magazines, on covers, CD and DVD inlays, tour posters and promotional campaigns in stores. I'm a regular contributor for Metal Hammer and Classic Rock magazines.

In early 2016, I jumped on a tour bus with Machine Head, and was one of the Official photographers for Bloodstock Festival in the summer.

When I'm not photographing 'Rock Stars', you can find me scrapbooking, preparing a sugar-free recipe, trying to pull an all-nighter with a TV series box set, and mastering the art of barefoot Lego-dodging. All while listening to anything from Jeff Buckley to Slipknot.

Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to work with me, or if you just want to say hi. You can read others' words about me below in Testimonials.

Testimonials

 Pepper_Keenan

“...great, thanks so much. Good time, great photos...”
~Pepper Keenan, Corrosion of Conformity

“Thank you for coming over! Been a pleasure to work with you again! Fun, easy, relaxed, pro, quick with great results. You rock
love, Angela”
~Angela Gossow, Arch Enemy Manager

“Great stuff!”
~PR, Alice in Chains

“Call me weird if you will, but the way I feel about photo shoots is comparable to the way most other people would perhaps feel about a dental appointment. Marie, however, always manages to make the whole process thoroughly agreeable: somehow she’s able to coax great results from even the most reluctant of subjects. Highly recommended!”
~Guthrie Govan

"Total pro! Always a pleasure to work with and full of creative ideas. From simple portrait work to complex post-production edits, always the best. Looking forward to the next shoot!”
~Seventh Circle Artworks

Simone_Simons “Marie’s very talented, sweet and fun to work with!”
~Simone Simons, Epica

“Working with Marie was about as painless as it gets when it comes to photo shoots!  Next to chewing on razorblades, photo shoots are my favorite thing to do in life.  She makes it fun, easy and she gets fantastic shots.  She’s a true inspiration to work with.”
~Richard Fortus, Guns ‘n’ Roses

“…fantastic to work with, the session was relaxed and fun. The finished shots looked amazing with the extra editing added after and, unlike some photographers, Marie was happy for me to choose my favourites to be sent to the client. I will definitely be using Marie again in the near future for any projects that require top quality photos with a quick turnaround.”
~Jim Davies, Victory Pill (formerly of The Prodigy & Pitchshifter)

“Marie is a complete professional, a FUN professional. We’ve done a few shoots with Marie and will continue to go to her for excellent results, you get what you want, you have fun getting what you want, she knows what she’s doing, she wears tight jeans. She has us completely at ease being in front of her lens, she tries as many things she can think of, and as many things we can think of and she works efficiently and co-operatively and most of all, which is important for bands especially, she makes you look cool regardless of how uncool you are.”
~Matt Drake, Evile

“… pics are totally killer”
~Jaap Wagemaker, A&R Manager – Nuclear Blast

Slash

“Cool Slash shots”
~Duff,  PR

“I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Marie when she was just starting to click, so it has bowled me over to see her become the showstopper she is now. She makes the editorial process really hard because she turns in so many usable snaps. But believe me, she’s worth the work.”
~Louise Brown, Former Editor, Terrorizer Magazine

“an outstanding job, much better than most of what we have nowadays!”
~Gary Holt

“…shots are great!! …not too many photographers can sing and shoot at the same time :)”
~Myles Kennedy, Alter Bridge

“Due to the fact I take so many pictures for my work, to me is really important when a photographer is focused on the job, tells you what it’s been seen through the lens, is quick to shot and edit and then in the end… the result is awesome. Marie is definitely one of the photographer that worked for me. Love her pics!”
~Cristina Scabbia, Lacuna Coil

“It’s official – the best things DO indeed come in small packages. Marie has a thorough understanding of the Rock n’ Roll vibe we are always looking for and never fails to deliver first class photography – something that makes my working day a LOT easier!”
~Steve Norton – Rotosound Media
